Your Spa Bath UK is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which in general means one year from the date of purchase in respect of equipment packs, plumbing, ozone generators, electrical heaters, electronic controls and wood surround. Two years in respect of air blowers and three years in respect of water pumps.
However, should you require any work to be done outside your warranty periods, we are here to help.
Delivery & Installation
Spa Bath UK has a strong commitment to service so your new spa will be delivered and installed at your prepared location and a full demonstration of all features will be given.
Delivery Access
When deciding on your spa you should acquaint yourself with the full dimensions of the spa you wish to purchase. You should also ensure that before the date of delivery there is sufficient clearance for the spa and its trolley. We recommend that you plan a delivery route so that there will be no unexpected problems on the day of installation. In special cases where access is limited a crane can be used to install your spa. We can arrange this on your behalf if required, prices are available upon application.
Electrical & Water Requirements
It is recommended that all spas be permanently connected (hard wired) to the power supply by means of A Single-phase 240 volt power supply with 30ma R.C.D. (E.L.C.B) fitted at the main fuse board. There will need to be an isolator sited a minimum of 2 metres from the water and a cable run to the back of the spa with a 4 metre tail. N.B Our installers will only be responsible for the connection of this tail to the spa control panel (located behind the timber access panel).
We insist that ALL work be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with IEE regulations.
Water Requirements
Filling: A garden hose is needed, preferably attached to the rising main. We recommend that water be run for a short period before filling to ensure that no dirt from the hose is carried into the spa.
Emptying: A garden hose pushed onto a spigot is used and run to a drain.
Chemicals
A chemical starter pack will be provided with your spa and a full demonstration on the safe usage of chemicals will be given. Future chemicals can be purchased from our show site or by mail order.
Providing a Suitable Foundation
Wherever you decide to install your spa, it is essential that a solid foundation be provided. Please note that due to the gross weight of a spa a grass surface is unsuitable. It is the responsibility of the owner to provide a suitable base that is both flat and level to prevent distortion from occuring. Any structural damage caused by improper installation on an inadequate foundation is not covered in our warranty.
Outdoors:
We recommend that your spa is placed on a concrete base a minimum of 10cm thick. If you place your spa on a patio or on wooden decking it is important to make sure that your structure can support the weight of the spa filled with water and people.
Indoors:
Again make sure that the floor can sustain the weight of the spa. Please remember too that a spa is filled with water, so flooring that will not be damaged or spoiled by water is recommended. We would advise you that Spa Bath UK will not be responsible for any flooring damaged by water. |
